Located in Louisville, Kentucky, this multi-level pool hall is organized around a series of ramps which draw the visitor through the spaces. Given the narrow yet tall site, the complexities are addressed by arranging functions adjacent to vertical circulation. Halfway along the procession, there is a moment of stasis at the rear of the building, within a "mirador." Large pool salons, indoor and outdoor bars and lounges populate the path. The sequence ends at the top with a large private pool room which caps the building.
